Fišerová, Karolína ; Laufková, Veronika (advisor) ; Starý, Karel (referee)
The diploma thesis aims to find out what benefits of using formative assessment in teaching see selected teachers and pupils of primary school. The theoretical part focuses on school evaluation, where this term is defined, and the main aspects of assessment such as functions and individual types are described. It also gets to the formative and summative types of evaluation and their comparison. The next part is devoted to specific principles of a formative approach, such as the formulation of goals that are closely related to criteria and feedback, as well as self-evaluation or peer evaluation. Formative assessment could not work without respectful communication and trust between the student and the teacher, which is dealt with in the last chapter of the theoretical part. The empirical part, through interviews with pupils' class teachers (specifically the 4th grade) and subsequent interviews with groups of pupils of the above-mentioned teachers, finds out what evaluation procedures teachers use and why. Interviews with pupils make it possible to record the pupils' view of school assessment and the methods their teachers work with, as well as how communication in the classroom affects pupils' approach to learning. The results of the qualitative design of the research show that formative methods try...

The chapter also looks at the past of evaluation and describes the phases of the teaching process. The second chapter is devoted to school assessments, its specifics and functions. The third chapter is the formative assessment itself, which then focuses on its methods. The last chapter covers student motivation to learn. The practical part deals with the qualitative research method and examines the view of teachers and students' parents on formative assessments. I created two questionnaires that aim to find out how formative assessment is perceived by teachers and parents in the 1st...

RŮŽIČKOVÁ ZAUMÜLLEROVÁ, Věra
The aim of this study is to evaluate students within the teaching process in accordance with a specified timetable in relation to the SEP, not only in general, but also specifically as an assessment of a student by a teacher during the vocational training for hairdressers. This work aims to define the basic concepts and briefly describe the problems of student assessment not only by a teacher but also by the student himself, including the evaluation of the performance of one individual student by other students. Furthermore, it aims to describe the psychological aspects and patterns as a result of the evaluation, both on the part of the teacher, the student himself, classmates, but also on the part of participants involved in the evaluation process. The work will have a theoretical - empirical character. The theoretical part describes the evaluation of the student by the teacher during the educational training with a focus to the vocational training for hairdressers in accordance with SEP. It describes a method of systematic observation of the student within the scope of the evaluation process, potential analysis and interpretation of the performance shown by the student and forms of expression of the evaluated results. The work also aims to take advantage of student self-assessment and involvement of peers in the evaluation process. The theoretical part also pays attention to the very concept of "hairdresser", a historical perspective on the notion and not least the current view on this vocational training, its classification and description. The empirical part will propose an assessment system for educational training of the vocational field and will experimentally verify the possibility of its use in practice. In the context of the experiment, sheets will be proposed for self-assessment of students, for evaluation of student performance by classmates and for assessment of the students by teacher. These sheets will be used within one half-year for assessment during vocational training. Result of the experiment is validated through evaluation questionnaires for students.
